Wendy's to host Blue Band Night
Blue Band Night will be held tonight from 5 to 7 at Wendy's on Wesel Boulevard. The restaurant will give a portion of people's bills to the Blue Band Uniform Fund at Williamsport High School.

Class of 2012 fundraiser set
The Williamsport High class of 2012 will hold a fundraiser at Tony's Pizza on Salisbury Street. Tony's will donate 20 percent of the coupon proceeds from Monday, Jan. 25 to Wednesday, Jan. 27, to the class.
Coupons can be obtained from WHS sophomores or by calling the school at 301-766-8423 and leaving a message for Mrs. Madden. Coupons need to be presented to the server at the time of a purchase.
Sophisti'Cats to perform during Jan. 30 luncheon
The Sophisti'Cats will perform at a cabaret and spaghetti luncheon Saturday, Jan. 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Williamsport High School cafeteria.
Tickets cost $6 for adults and $4 for those 8 and younger. The group will perform throughout the event. Tickets will be available at the door, from choir students or by contacting Michelle Rafter at 301-766-8433 or raftemic@wcboe.k12.md.us.
Bingo event planned Feb. 7
Williamsport Volunteer Fire and EMS will hold a Vera Bradley bingo event Sunday, Feb. 7. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch will be served at noon and bingo starts at 1 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 if purchased at the door, and include lunch and 30 games of bingo. Also featured will be King Tuts, tip jars, raffles, door prizes and loser prizes. Children are welcome to play with a ticket purchase. For more information, call 301-223-8554.
Girls softball signups planned
The Washington County Girls Softball League will hold registration Saturdays, Jan. 30, Feb. 6 and Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dick's Sporting Goods at the Centre at Hagerstown.
Registration will also be held at Extra Innings on Friday, Feb. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 20, and Sunday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The registration fee is $40 with an additional fundraising fee of $40 for raffle tickets. The fee for the raffle tickets will be reimbursed if the tickets are sold.
