Inside Sports features the expertise of local sports writers covering everything from football to golf, basketball to volleyball. The sports staff of The Herald-Mail along with radio commentator Wes Decker meet each week to talk about sports. During the fall, the program focuses on high school football.

Bob ParasilitiBob Parasiliti has covered sports for The Herald-Mail for the last 21 1/2 years. He has covered many events and features, ranging from kiddie wrestling to the Baltimore Orioles, as well as every high school sport in Washington County. Parasiliti, a Cleveland native, has won multiple awards for his coverage at the Herald-Mail.
Wes DeckerWes has been doing sports play-by-play since 1994 on both TV and radio. He's called football, basketball, baseball, and hockey games.
His favorite game was the first one he ever did when Smithsburg defeated Boonsboro in a thriller for the state football championship at School Stadium.
